Ploughed Lines

Beautiful shades of greens, pinks and plums are collaged and stitched to show the patchwork of fields along the headland above Trevone. Heaving contrast stitching suggests ploughed lines and fence posts. Frayed shot silk exposes the strong pink edge which sits perfectly infront of the rich aubergine selvedge. The lovely olive velvet is a snippet from a shirt my sister gave to me to work into my embroideries… a very special gift!

White washed wood frame, mounted with artglass. Ready to hang.
