A Bird’s Eye View

Part of a series of small works developed from an aerial perspective. Birds Eye View details the beautiful lines in the land after the farmer has ploughed, contrasting with the watery movements of the sea rippling in on a balmy summers evening. Warm orange shot silk contrasts with the chartreuse wool and a snippet of sari border to suggest the patchwork of fields seen from above.
